First day was training, telling me what to do. The 2nd and 3rd day's the killer. My work starts at 5.30am and ends at 1.30pm. For the past 2 days, I've been going in at 6am and leave at 4.30pm. Reason? Cause there's this HSBC project (for those who doesn't know, I'm in a News Monitoring Agency. All I do is to monitor my client's - HSBC- news and categorize it accordingly, whether if it is positive/negative news, investment, banking, corporate responsibility-related news) that we're currently rushing on. According to my supervisor, we have to complete it asap before the due date which is next Tues. So actually I'm done with my work today by 1pm. I think I read approx 400 news. But seeing everyone's being so stressed out, I offered my help reading an extra 150-200 news and the next thing I know is its already 4.30pm - stayed longer than I expected.
Mom, sis and Chris has been nagging and nagging and nagging me for staying late -_- and I'm just a part-timer, I don't have OT. And to be honest, I'm really tired. Reading news ALLL about finance is driving me crazy! But on the other hand, I really feel bad for not helping. Everyone's dying to get the work done and I just leave them like that.
What you guys think? Should I just leave next time at 1.30pm or should I stay in and help =S
