GONG HEHEEE FATT CHOY

Nin 30 man (day before chinese new year) - morning
was feeling guilty that day. cause i woke up quite late. around 10.30am?
Anyway. we had our dinner at home that night. mom cooked.
due to my boredom. as usual. i made a Today's Special Menu.
A menu where it list down the sequence of food that will be served.

looks familiar? Does Madam Kwan ring the bell? hmmm maybe not.
since my mom's surname is Yong. so i named it after Madam Yong's kitchen.
yeah i know what ure thinking. ure thinking how creative and brilliant i am. right? ahhh dont deny

So, what cha think about the card? heh

crap.

1st dish - Abalone "Lo sang"

This aint any ordinary yii sang people. Look carefully and u'll spot 3 pieces of abalone! haha hell yeah. we had abalone yii sang. it was my first time though.

2nd dish - Twin Delight Platter

This dish is the combination of both cold and hot. The beancurd skin was stuffed with some pre-cooked mushrooms, peas, carrots and chicken. All finely chopped and steamed. In the other hand, jellyfish is seasoned and kept in the fridge before serving it.

3rd dish - Shark fin soup

hohoho.. its not EXACTLY shark fin ler actually. the soup is made out of dried scallop, seacucumber, mushrooms, abalone and eggs. Tasty~

4th dish - The most precious dish of all!

Abalone, dried scallop, mushroom, seacucumber and broccoli. Just one word: yiichiiban! however it spells
5th dish - Mussels with fatt choy

this is a MUST dish during chinese new year! though the colour of fatt choy doesnt look too appetizing, but it's really good!
6th dish - Steamed Pomfred
there's really not much to say. the fish was juicy and fresh. mamamiah~!
7th dish - Si yau prawn
i just ate one of those prawn. cause im kinda allergy to prawns. there's once where my lips actually swelled after eating lobster!

8th dish - Siu bak choy with dried scallop

10th dish - lap mei fan
made out of waxed meat (lap mei) and some mushroom.

Everyone was holding up their tummy when we had fruits.
I dont know how we did it. But somehow we left 1 piece for each type of fruits! the funniest thing was, they were actually still arranged in order! hahaha

I've realized how important for a family to have more reunion like this. Sis moved out recently. Bro is going back to singapore.

sigh. lonliness kills.
