especially when it comes to seafood!

it was dad's birthday.
bro and his family came all the way back from Singapore.
we all went out for dinner on a Saturday night.
somewhere around PJ i guess.

UNIQUE SEAFOOD

well... the seafood there are really unique.
there's many seafood that I've never seen before.

we order one of these..
it's called Canada Geoduck.
they have really wierd names =/
speaking of duck, it looks like an elephant's trunk!

you can either "sashimi" it with wasabi

OR..

cook it with their special herb soup with vege and toufu

well i prefer cooking it with soup as i dislike raw food

well it doesnt make any difference for me

Scallop with garlic

look at the size of the scallop
it was HUGE!
it is as big as my plate wei
but unfortunately, this was not THAT fantastic ler.
the scallop was too meaty and... it just taste wierd =/

Longevity Noodles

overall, the noodles was okay.
but, how come mine dont have vege one!

the bill came up to be almost Rm2k.
i was shocked wei.
2k for such food? i dont think its worth it
i rather pay for gym.
one whole year and it is less than 2k!

finally.. my cravings for shabu shabu is fulfilled!
after nagging for the past 1 week, that is.
we went to one of the Shabu shabu restaurant located at Bandar Puteri, Puchong.

and maybe 8-10 stacks of these....

we even made our very own ABC soup!! hahahahaha!

and Aunt Alice came as well! all the way from Teluk Intan heh.

went to Midvalley the other day, again.
wanted to go for movies, but there wasn't any movie that we wanted to watch.

bought a new top from Treats. heh.
was wandering around MV,
until.... when i suggested trying something new, something that we've never eaten before....

this is "guai lin gou".
dont know what is it called in english.
i dont really like the taste of it. but it was OKAYY..

later that night, we went for Shabu Shabu. heh
the restaurant used to be buffet style, as in, all u can eat
but they changed their concept.
previously, i went there with Peter and Mei.
we said we'll never ever go back to the restaurant anymore.
but dont know why we still end up going there -.-
